Brittany is a NYC native who has balanced her Public Health and Hospitality career. She earned her dual BSc in Public Health and Psychology at Temple University and her Masters in Public Health and Epidemiology in Barcelona, working as a bartender in both cities. She developed a new appreciation for wine and its culture in Spain.

In 2019, she came back to NYC and worked for a black-woman owned boutique wine shop in Brooklyn that featured Black owned wines and spirits, with 90% of their inventory being from BIPOC people. She learned more about minorities in the industry, met minority winemakers, and hosted tastings.

As of 2022, she moved to the Washington DC area where she continues her work in Public Health, while also becoming the Special Events Coordinator for a company that hosts educational wine and spirit tastings and festivals. She has introduced new classes that focus on black-owned vintners.
