Initially destined for medical school, my journey took a detour when a part-time role at Dragonette Cellars swiftly transitioned to a full-time commitment, diverting me from grad school aspirations. Immersed in all facets of the wine industry, from winemaking to operations, I embraced the chance to wear multiple hats and witnessed the business’s growth firsthand.

In 2020, amidst the chaos, I felt compelled to reshape wine culture to be more inclusive and accessible. Partnering with my husband, Nick Luis, we founded Cote of Paint, a celebration of wine, community, and individuality. Through continuous learning and certifications from prestigious institutions, I equipped myself with new skills, paving the way for innovative endeavors like our podcast, where diverse voices from the wine world and beyond will take center stage.
