The Future Leader Program Application

Program Overview: The Future Leader Program will run from May 2026 through June 2027. FLP participants will have access to career coaching, engage in quarterly industry speaker webinars and study sessions, and have access to gain beverage industry certifications. Future Leaders Program participants will also have the exciting opportunity to attend our all expenses paid 5-day 2024 Immersion in Portugal in late May 2027. This immersive experience will provide an in-depth educational dive into Portugese wine, culture, and business.

Application Deadline:

Applications for The Future Leaders Program will be accepted until April 26, 2026 at midnight PT. Final candidates will be announced by mid-May.

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

• 2+ years of experience in the beverage industry
• Aspirations for leadership positions
• Current possession of, or ability to obtain a U.S. Passport by May 2027 (existing passports cannot expire before November 2027)

Application Process:

• Complete the online application (including your resume, headshot and short bio no longer than 2 paragraphs), and submit a letter of recommendation to info@theveraisonproject.com by April 26, 2026 at midnight PT.
• Email a two-minute video to the same address, answering the prompt: “Why do you want to be a part of The Veraison Project’s Future Leaders Program?”

Candidate Expectations:

• Attendance at a minimum of 3 quarterly TVP educational meetings
• Actively work toward certifications in the beverage industry
• Attend one in-person event throughout the year
• Engage with career coach
• Participate in and complete group projects throughout the cohort year
