Jerome, hailing from Châteauroux in Central France, developed a profound love for wine early on. His journey from sipping Champagne at age 10 to studying enology at the University of Burgundy shaped his winemaking path.

After gaining experience in France and Australia, Jerome ventured to California, where he refined his skills at Newton Vineyards in Napa Valley before joining forces with Ted Lemon as an associate winemaker. Under Lemon’s mentorship, Jerome worked with diverse varietals across California.
In 2004, Jerome became the winemaker at Saintsbury in Napa Valley, focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Over the years, he rose to director of winemaking, overseeing significant advancements in winemaking, production, and marketing efforts.

Today, Jerome crafts wines for Fog Crest Vineyard and Gentleman Farmers Wines, blending his passion for wine, food, and travel into his winemaking endeavors with a touch of inspiration and discovery.
