Miray Seward is a highly skilled applied development psychologist who holds a PhD in Educational Psychology: Applied Developmental Science from the University of Virginia. She has more than ten years of experience conducting mixed-methods research and evaluation. Currently, she works as a Research Scientist at an applied research firm where she leads research and evaluation projects. Miray developed her love for wine while working towards her PhD at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. She spent several weekends visiting wineries in the Monticello and Shenandoah Valley AVA. The welcoming nature of the Virginia wine community led her to want to learn more.

She is now WSET Level 2 certified with distinction, and has been a part of multiple organizations that have supported her wine education. She is thrilled to bring her expertise to the Director of Data & Insights role.
